About Sonic Candle

"Given a music file, generates a video file with a visualization of frequency spectrum bars generated for the music. Outputs high-quality, rendered video. Intended for publishing your own music on YouTube and stuff =)"

Sonic Candle was founded by Ryan Schroeder. The goal was to create an application to make beautiful high quality videos for artists wanting to make music videos. A few months after Ryan began development, Chris Soderquist joined in. The two are now working to develop a good and free alternative to expensive renderers so that musicians can spend their time worrying about the music, and not the money.

Can I help?

Sure you can! All you need is to know how to program in Java 8, understand how to use Gradle, make a clone of our git repository, and make a pull request with your new additions. If we find it useful we'll merge it and maybe even add you to the repository! We do request however that you use the MVC pattern to keep the code clean and organized.

How can I contact you?
